EB-7SolSmart Designation, Solar Education, and Solar Group Purchase Program

SolSmart provides cities with technical assistance to ensure they are offering residents streamlined, easy-to-understand information about solar installations. Receiving a gold designation will expand Carmel residents access to solar resources. As part of this initiative, the City of Carmel will develop solar education programs, organize group purchases of solar panels, and work with Home Owners Associations to ensure their covenants allow for solar installations.
