The Climate Action Advisory Committee was established through Ordinance No. D-2637-22 on September 21, 2022, for the purpose of advising and making recommendations regarding the implementation of the Carmel Climate Action Plan (CAP), including ensuring that the strategies set forth in the CAP remain a priority and are efficiently administered.
This 13-member Committee holds regular meetings on a monthly basis. Members are comprised of 10 persons appointed by various entities and 3 ex-officio members appointed by City department heads.
